Saturday saw the last home league game of the season for Trafford who made easy work of their Cumbrian opponents Windermere.
Trafford were closely beaten in the corresponding away fixture earlier on in the season by a narrow 4 point margin.
Changes in the Trafford back-row were required to combat the Windermere strength of the tigerish pack. This was to prove the key as blindside Kevan was to rule the roost with a fine brace of tries ably supported by No. 8 Shay who has had an excellent season.
The tries continued to flow with inside centre Hyde scoring a brace and young prop Rearson also getting in on the act to which he has done at regular intervals throughout the campaign.
Fullback Worrall slotted over 4 of his conversions in reply to the single penalty from Windermere.
All in all a very satisfying victory for Trafford who now have a couple of weeks grace from league action before their final league outing away to Ormskirk, this game now being of vital importance to both clubs in respect to the possibility of league restructuring.
