PETS champion Chris Butterworth has issued a third plea on behalf of the Cats Protection League for the safe return of Benji the cat.

The ginger, neutered male moggy went missing from his new home in Ashton-on-Mersey on February 26.

Chris, who runs Petline, says Benji may have lost the purple collar he was wearing.

If you can help, call the CPL on 969 0331.

On a more successful note, 22 cats and nine dogs have been re-united with their relieved owners
