Raise your glasses once more to the golden girls of Sale Harriers Manchester who again made their mark over the weekend.
Heading the honours was twenty year old Amy Waterlow, the top scorer for Great Britain in the World Cross Country Championships in Belfast. Very much the baby of the race Amy, who won the Junior UK title last year, crossed the line in an incredible 15th position, well ahead of her more senior international team-mates and look destined for a glittering future.
At the other end of the scale, Stacey Kirby (under 15's) and Jenna Hill (under 13's) recorded the fastest times in Birmingham at the McDonalds National Road Relays and are undoubtedly stars of tomorrow.
Both teams picked up bronze medals, concluding a memorable season for the Harriers.
