THE views recently expressed in two articles about John Aikenhead, of Salcombe Close, Sale, are not shared by all the residents - nor were signatures of all the occupiers appended to a petition, as he says.
The small number of residents using the carriageway each evening allows the 'angry resident' raising the issue ample space, but he apparently prefers his Range Rover and van to devastate the green to prove his point.
But, despite the damage, the trees and greens still do enhance and soften the close. Over the years children have respected them, so perhaps the adults could take a lesson from them?
Mr Aikenhead is privileged, as am I, to share consideration and friendliness in the area in which he has chosen to live - a bonus indeed!
