MY name is Marsha White and I work with the special educational needs families support group in Trafford.
We are launching a long term campaign to open a special needs family centre for disabled children and those with special educational needs to use - the only one of its kind in the area.
We need to raise £180,000 by the year 2002 for the centre which will have a multi sensory room, an enclosed play area, play room, training and meeting room, resource library and a telephone help line office for children, parents and professionals to contact us for advice and support about the special needs issues.
Children with special needs will not have a centre unless we all work in partnership, so this is your chnce to help change the future for disabled children and their families by helping us with fund-raising.
You may be able to spare a couple of hours of your time, or by sending us donations. If we don't try to make this happen, it never will.
Please call me on 755-3482 or 0966-263710. By working together we can and will move mountains for the sake of Trafford's children.
Mrs Marsha White.
