METROLINK has been named the official public transport partner of Lancashire County Cricket Club for the second year running.
The entire LCCC squad joined Metrolink travel safe officers Jeanette Shepherd and Tony Wakefield at Old Trafford, pictured, to celebrate the renewal of the partnership.
The link-up will focus on encouraging young people across the region to become engaged with cricket and get active in the community.
GMPTE’s Metrolink director Philip Purdy said: “The partnership between Metrolink and Lancashire County Cricket Club was a real success last year and we look forward to building on the relationship this year.”
