BBC Apprentice star Duane Bryan, from Stretford, has survived another week in the boardroom, despite being on the losing team.
The task, set by Lord Sugar, was to buy old, unwanted junk and then sell it on for a profit. Although Duane put himself forward as Project Manager for the second week running, it was bridal shop owner Laura Hogg that got the team’s vote.
However, with no clear strategy, Team Sterling was a little chaotic with Laura making the decision to buy items as cheaply as possible and then 'upcycle' them, opting for the 'shabby chic' look.
As the team acquired items for their shop, Duane said: “There’s a well-known expression - don’t look a gift horse in the eye,” which could quite possibly become the quote of the series.
Over at Team Phoenix, fine wine guru Tom implemented a risky strategy of quality over quantity, which proved to be a winning plan. It was Jane McEvoy from Laura's team who got the chop and Tom, Azhar and the rest of Team Phoenix were treated to an evening of swing dancing and 1940s cocktails.
Next week, teams have to come up with a new fitness programme.
