BRITAIN'S most successful track cyclist, Chris Hoy, wheeled into Wellacre Technology College to help promote cycling and staying safe.
The current Olympic, Commonwealth and World champion took time out of his busy schedule to team up with the Children's Safety Education Foundation for the Be Safe - Be Seen campaign.
Chris also spoke to teachers and pupils about what it takes to become a sprint champion and showed off his Commonwealth gold medal.
David Howell, headteacher at Wellacre, said: "The children were very excited to meet Chris - it was quite an occasion.
"It will also help make the message stick about how important it is to take care on the road on bikes and be visible."
