RESIDENTS are invited to a free breakfast time party with the torch when it passes through Old Trafford on Sunday, June 24.
A morning of record-breaking activities and guest appearances will follow at Lancashire County Cricket Club.
The torch relay will come into Trafford from Media City at 6.15am and will travel along Trafford Wharf Road up to Old Trafford stadium, across Chester Road on to Warwick Road passing Trafford Town Hall, turning left onto Talbot Road and then right onto Seymour Grove.
Aseries of events will then take place at the cricket club from 7am. Among the fun and games will be a ‘breakfast munching’ world record.
The record is for the greatest number of people participating in eating cereal at a single venue and there is still an opportunity for families to take part by registering in advance.
