LEADING Altrincham solicitors McHale & Co was crowned 'best law firm' at the Talk of Manchester Business Awards, in front of more than 500 people at the Mercure Manchester Piccadilly Hotel in the city centre last night [Thursday, December 3].
Practice solicitor Adam Horner, who collected the award, said: "We are very proud to have been nominated in the first place for the best Manchester law firm award, never mind winning it.
“We were up against some big names but our clients turned out and voted, for which we are very thankful.
“The ceremony was to celebrate the successes of Manchester's finest talents. It was a great night, well attended with a fantastic atmosphere.”
McHale & Co, which also has offices in Stretford, Heywood and London and employs around 50 people, offers legal services to individuals and businesses and specialises in Russian and Polish clients.

Adam added: “We have had an amazing few years and we are getting better and better.
“We have achieved accreditations in an array of areas including the Conveyance Quality Scheme, we are criminal Law Society Panel specialists and an accredited APIL practice.
“We continue to grow and strengthen, which is down to the hard work of the staff and management who share the same drive, belief and ambition.
“We can compete with any firm in Manchester and we are delighted to bring the award back to Altrincham."
The Talk of Manchester is a business network run to celebrate the region’s business community.
The best law firm award was sponsored by Stockport office technology firm Midshire.
