TikTok is regularly privy to the falling-outs and dramas of different users, some regular friendly tiffs and other high-profile feuds.
But this week TikTokers have watched as an unlikely high-profile disagreement has unfolded, between American rapper Doja Cat and 17-year-old Stranger Things actor Noah Schnapp.
But what is the drama and how did it start?
Doja Cat and Noah Schnapp TikTok Drama
Earlier last week, Noah Schnapp posted a video to his TikTok account which included a screenshot of a private Instagram DM from Doja Cat.
In the screenshot, the rapper had shared her crush on his co-star, Joseph Quinn, and asked Schnapp to relay this to him.
She wrote in the message: “Noah can u tell Joseph to hmu [hit me up]. Wait no. Does he have a gf?”
Schnapps response was: “LMAOO slide into his DMS” to which Doja Cat responded that she could not find any of his social media accounts.
Schnapp then provided her with a link to Quinn’s Instagram account, and the seemingly short interaction was over.
After the conversation was leaked in a now-deleted TikTok, Doja Cat addressed it in a TikTok live video.

She called Noah out for his choice to share the video, calling it “degrading” and “exploitative”.
She then reasoned with Noah, acknowledging he is young saying “When you’re young you make mistakes.”
She continued: “You’re supposed to so you don’t do that in the future.”
She then later called his decision to share the screenshot a “weird power play”, “a weird ego-y thing” and “super embarrassing”.
Fans respond to Doja Cat’s TikTok live
Fans of the rapper were taken aback by her response to the situation, with many siding with Schnapp across Twitter and TikTok.
Her recent TikTok videos are flooded with comments showing support for Noah, with some commenting “#teamNoah”, “We stan Noah Schnapp” and “Apologise to Noah right now”.
Twitter has also been flooded with comments and takes on the situation, many taken aback at the unusual situation.
One user wrote: "the fact that Doja Cat went live and ranted for like 10 minutes about Noah Schnapp 20 second TikTok .. you are a grown woman. act like it. noah didn’t mean any harm, he was just joking. it’s never that serious."
Noah Schnapp has since deleted the video and has not made any further comment on the matter.
