Soccer AM is set to be axed by Sky Sports at the end of the 2022-23 football season, with there being just 10 episodes left to go.
The Saturday morning football comedy talk show will run until the end of the season but will be brought to an end amid falling ratings.
As reported by The Sun, staff were told on Tuesday (March 21) that the show would be coming to an end, with the last episode set to air on Saturday, May 27.
A source told The Sun that the decision has not gone down too well, especially with current hosts John Fendley and Jimmy Bullard.
They told the newspaper: "It was a complete bombshell. Morale is at an all-time low, they are raging. It's going to be an interesting watch over the next few weeks."

What did Sky have to say on the matter?
A spokesperson for Sky said: “Soccer AM has played an important role in our coverage of football for the past three decades, and we continually adapt to the evolving needs of our customers.
"We now go into a period of consultation to discuss the proposed changes with our people. We are unable to provide more detail while these consultations are underway.”
The show was originally launched back in 1995 with it being hosted by Russ Williams and Helen Chamberlain.
Figures such as Tim Lovejoy, Andy Goldstein, Max Rushden and Lloyd Griffiths have also been presenters on the programme.
Several segments, such as the Crossbar Challenge, became very popular and celebrity guests were also common.
Soccer AM will be replaced by an alternative programme in the Saturday Social which was previously broadcast at 9.30 am but will now go out an hour later.
