FIREFIGHTERS were called to the same Timperley block of flats twice on the same day after people became stuck in the lift there.
Crews from Sale and Altrincham fire stations were initially called to the Bridge, on Deansgate Lane, at around 3.20pm on July 9.
The firefighters were able to release the woman using specialised lift keys.
The fire service was called to the Bridge again at around 6.20pm following reports that two women were stuck in the lift and one of them was having a heart attack.
Crews from Sale and Wythenshawe freed the 63-year-old and the 36-year-old woman using lift keys and it was found that one of the women had not suffered a heart attack but a panic attack.
