AN evening of high emotion and light-hearted music is planned when Urmston Choral Society and the Gemini Choir from Swinton join together to perform 'Sing for Heroes', a tribute to the nation's Armed Forces.
The choirs will sing well-loved songs and perform readings from the First World War and other conflicts.
The first concert will take place at St Luke’s RC Church, Swinton Park Road, Salford on September 18, starting at 7.15pm, repeated the following evening at Flixton Girls’ School, Flixton Road, Urmston, starting at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £7 adults, £6 concessions and £2 students/children and are available by calling Maxine Summers on 0161 748 0903.
