WELLACRE Academy in Flixton has linked up with the Royal Air Force.
The RAF's Flt Lt Ed Stephens called in to present the Flixton school with 'Platinum Partnership' award.
Fewer than 50 schools in the country have received the award.
As a Platinum Partner, Wellacre will be one of the first schools line to benefit from a range of new initiatives created by the RAF’s recruitment team.
The school will have access to exclusive activities and trips, guest speakers and coaches, as well as the opportunity to undertake outdoor team-building exercises.
