HALE Barns hosted the biggest classical musical event the village has ever seen on Sunday.
A 36-piece 'super' orchestra performed a magnificent set list of Mozart's finest works staged inside the beautiful Holy Angels Church in the heart of the village
The stage was adorned with colour and lights as the newly formed orchestra entertained the sell-out crowd with rousing scores including Impressario and The Marriage of Figaro.
The event organiser; Max Eden, said: "Its wonderful to see this beautiful church full with people, all brought together with a love for music and I think our orchestra delivered something extra special."
The concert was performed by the Festival Orchestra, a new ‘super’ orchestra with professional and semi professional players who have performed in numerous symphony orchestras around the world including the Halle, the Irish Youth Orchestra and the BBC symphony Orchestra.
Max hopes to continue to stage more events in the future.
