CHURCHILL Retirement Living is inviting residents of Timperley to join its owners, their friends and family and local school children to a Christmas carol concert at its St John’s Lodge development on Thorley Lane.
Pupils from Cloverlea Primary School will perform a special carol service at the lodge on Tuesday December 19 at 11am.
Rachel Walsh, regional sales and marketing director at Churchill Retirement Living, said: “It will be wonderful to see the generations come together to celebrate Christmas. It can be a difficult time for some people, but having events such as this helps to spread some Christmas cheer.
“Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy some festive mince pies and sherry whilst listening to the pupils from Cloverlea Primary School. There’ll be plenty of opportunities to join in with the carols too.”
St John’s Lodge is a collection of 44 one and two bedroom apartments designed exclusively for the over 60s, just a short distance from public transport links, shops and all the local amenities on offer in Timperley.
