SISTER of the famous American singer Jerry Lee Lewis is to return to Urmston for another night of rock 'n' roll.
Linda Gail Lewis will be playing at L.A.Crepes 'n' Drapes Rock 'n' Roll Club at John Alker Ex Service Mens Club in Flixton Road at the end of the month.
The American singer and pianist attended the club two years ago and with a sell-out gig decided to return again.
Harold Savage, who runs L.A.Crepes 'n' Drapes said: "We hold the Rock 'n' Roll club every month but we never have anyone as big name as Linda and who comes from so far. She came two years ago, and she just gives everyone the best time, she gives time and sits in the crowd, talking to everyone - it's unusual for someone like that.
"We're all very excited, it's a great start to the year. We all have such a good time, and there's always a great atmosphere. We have a seven-year-old that comes and 80-year-olds that come - it's a great event and it keeps the club's doors open."
The event will be held on January 19. Tickets for Linda Gail Lewis are £10 and can be purchased from the L.A Crepes 'n' Drapes Rock 'n' Roll Club Facebook Page.
