CYCLING is being celebrated in Trafford with a variety of events planned for Bike Week which starts today - and there is plenty of opportunity for everyone to get involved.
Whether you want to get on your bike and join a ride or would simply like more information or advice about cycling in the borough, there’s something for everyone.
The celebration will be launched at Sale Waterside today marking the start of a week-long exhibition at the venue.
Staff from Trafford Council and the primary care trust will be supporting the celebration by taking part in staff training sessions.
Councillors and director of environment strategy John Lamb will also be completing a ride along a section of the Trans Pennine Trail which has been vastly improved over the past two years.
