IT’S D-day for Urmston’s Dorothy this weekend when the Over the Rainbow final takes place on BBC1 Saturday from 7pm.
18-year-old Danielle Hope will need Trafford’s votes when she faces two separate public votes to win the role of Dorothy in a new West End version of The Wizard of Oz.
In the first of the evening’s two shows, Danielle and the other two remaining contestants, Lauren Samuels and Sophie Evans, will perform their personal favourite songs from the series.
There will also be a group number performed by the eight contestants who failed to make it to the final, before the girl with the least votes leaves the show.
In the second show at 8.55pm, the two remaining girls will face another public vote before the winner of the competition is revealed.
