HALE geared up for the Olympics with its very own torch tour.
The Hale Torch was taken around businesses in the village by Natalie Perrett and Adam Jackson, who are Jabberwocks - junior members of Hale Civic Society.
The journey, which also celebrated Civic Day (June 23), started from Richards fruit and vegetable Shop on Park Road, then went through Hale Village. It visited every establishment before finally ending up at 100-year-old Hills Bakery, the oldest business in the village.
Natalie and Adam are pictured with Janet Hill outside Hill’s Bakery.
