J DAVIDSON-sponsored Manchester Phoenix have only one game this weekend; a home fixture against the Slough Jets. The game is on Sunday with the usual 5.30pm face off.
Phoenix have had the better of the Jets this season, winning all four encounters so far.
The Manchester outfit has won 4-2 and 4-3 at Slough and 3-2 followed by a 12-2 demolition in their last home encounter. That last result brought about some major changes in the Slough line up.
Since that game, Slough have lost their player coach, Slava Koulikov, to Peterborough and no fewer than 10 regular players have also left the Hangar.
New coach Craig Moran has brought in Jamie Line, Andrius Kaminskas, Kamil Tvrdek and Ryan Webb to try and bolster the roster.
One interesting addition is 20 year old netminder Andrej Vasiljevic. The Croatian-born youngster has been playing in Zagreb and can boast a game in the KHL for his home town club.
Phoenix are sitting in second position in the league with games in hand over leaders Guildford and, as always, coach Hand will be looking for two points in their only fixture of the weekend.
