Action from Kersal firsts' game against Southport
ALTRINCHAM Kersal first team were victorious 26-5 against a strong Southport outfit in Lancs/Cheshire Division One last weekend.
On home soil, and facing ex-Sale player Chris Mayor who is now player/coach for Southport, the victory made it three out of three for the Timperley-based club, this year under the guidance of Sale Sharks hooker Cameron Neild as head coach.
Sunday saw a 26-21 win for Kersal's under-14s in a close encounter at Knutsford.
This Saturday the table-topping Kersal firsts travel to Fleetwood.
