ALTRINCHAM'S poor record at Guiseley continued last weekend when they drew 2-2 in the final National League North outing of 2018.
This was the Robins' ninth match at Nethermoor and they are still awaiting a first victory there.
Having led at one stage, Altrincham were ultimately grateful for a stoppage-time equaliser to avoid defeat.
Alty started the game well with three early corners but the goalless first half was largely uneventful.
However, the second half had an early goal which sparked the match into life.
The breakthrough came six minutes after the interval from loanee Ashley Hemmings after John Johnston and Josh Hancock had been involved in the build-up.
Alty wasted chances to extend their lead and they paid the price as Guiseley scored twice in the final 20 minutes.
Niall Heaton's header levelled things in the 71st minute before Will Hatfield put the hosts ahead in the 83rd minute.
Just before that goal Hemmings had put a great chance onto the bar from close range.
Alty snatched a deserved equaliser as the game went into added time.
Following a Johnston run, Connor Hampson scored with a cross-shot to make it 2-2.
ALTRINCHAM: Thompson, Densmore, Hampson, Jones, Hannigan, Moult, Johnston, Richman, Sang, Hancock, Hemmings. Subs: Harrop, Williams, Harrison, Mantack, Wynne.
