It was a successful end to the season for Timperley Amateur Boxing Club at the Manchester Box Cup.
Boxers from the Mainwood Road club won two gold medals, two silvers and one bronze at the event.
Lennon Blinkhorn and Dempsey Lowe became champions on the day and everyone at the club was delighted with the success at the tournament, including all the coaches who attended with a quintet of competitors.
It is more success for the club formed in 2011 and providing sessions for youngsters aged eight to 18 on the Broomwood Estate and surrounding areas.
It has grown in the past 12 years and club secretary, and coach, Mark Davidson says they are in the process of finalising plans to extend the gym to accommodate even more youngsters.
After a active summer clubs, boxers are back in action this weekend when Rocky Smith and Mikey Morris represent the North West region in Sweden.
