Inspirational skipper Shahnawaz Khan might have been on holiday but that did not stop Timperley seconds confirming promotion.
They put Bramhall to the sword, winning by 100 runs with Abhishek Kulkarni top scoring with 71 - and stand-in skipper Rob Matthews hitting 40 off 39 balls.
In reply the visitors could only manage 112 with Muhammad Usman the pick of the bowlers with 3-20.
Club chairman, Jurjees Hasan, said: “I’m chuffed to bits for Shahnawaz and his all-conquering team who have shown great character to bounce back after a suffering a blip in form last month.”
Meanwhile the first team are celebrating too, even though they lost heavily at title-chasing Didsbury, as they are now mathematically safe from relegation with two games to go after everyone else at the bottom also lost.
Skipper Ed Galley said: “It was always going to be a tough game. Timperley restricted Didsbury to 90-2 at one point which was a valiant effort from the bowlers, especially from Callum Yates.
“From here Didsbury tore apart the Timperley bowling attack apart with some strong batting.
“The Timperley firsts started the chase to reach 347 in what was clearly a daunting task, but there were some good contributions from Jamie Matthews, Viraj Sorathia, Caedence Kuepper and notably Nathan Brown with a super half-century. We fell to a disappointing 120 short of the Didsbury total.”
Galley added: “With everyone around us also losing, this meant the firsts were officially safe with two games to go which is a great achievement for boys with this being the aim of the season. The lads are determined to finish the season strongly now.”
