ON Saturday AK first team entertained second placed Rossendale in National 3 North.

With several regulars already missing through injury, AK’s cause wasn’t helped by the further loss of three key players during the game to injury, and they eventually succumbed to a 57 – 10 defeat.

AK’s tries were scored by JP Singleton and Danny Marshall.

However the other AK senior teams fared much better. The second team went to Broughton Park and won 57 - 0 to consolidate their second place in the North West Premier League. The third team also won at Broughton Park 70 – 0.
