IN response to my letter published in this newspaper, I've received a badly spelled, poison pen' letter, laboriously pointing out (among other unusual suggestions) that Trafford Housing Trust isn't owned by Trafford council.

So my complaint that the unsightly signs were an unnecessary waste by the local authority of ratepayers money, (to whom I offer my apologies) is incorrect and the responsibility lies elsewhere.

Glad we've got that sorted.
