READING the recent letters on money wastage by Trafford council I would like to add another item to the already long and growing list.
A great deal of money has no doubt been spent on tarting' up bus stops i.e pavoir block paving at each stop down Washway Road and a great deal of it opposite the Town Hall.
This is all very nice but try to walk down aforementioned road and any other e.g. Broad Road on a very wet day and be prepared for an early bath.
The roads are in a mess and don't anyone say the cause is the leaves.
The drains must be so bunged up from years of neglect that they can't take ordinary rainwater the kind we get in the UK.
It might help though if some of the thoughtless vehicle drivers were a bit more considerate and drive according to the weather conditions.
