I LIVE on Greenbank Road, Ashton-on-Mersey, opposite is the car park where the council decided to put a recycling centre.
I fully agree we need to do our part for the environment, but at what expense to the community who have to live with the continuous noise of people throwing their bottles into bins - sometimes as early as 6am and very late at night. They also leave their rubbish behind.
The area should be cleared regularly but is not. I have phoned a number of times to complain, (the times I have been able to get through, that is) Why do the public seem to think they can use it as a rubbish tip? Christmas is approaching and things get even worse.
