FURTHER to the anonymous letter regarding the extra lane recently put in near the retail park roundabout.

I could not agree more; because I have had a couple of near accidents myself.

The reason being, the lane markings for the new third lane were not carried over to the other side.

It, therefore, becomes a race when the lights change, to get in your lane before you are carved up by other vehicle.

I hope whoever was responsible for creating this problem will see it sorted' before too long.
