I WONDER what efforts will be made by the Trafford Council to disguise the ugliness caused by the never ending revamp of Urmston.
Will we be seeing lovely white lights adorning all the trees and lamp posts in and around the town centre? Will they brighten our eyes with a large Christmas tree in one of the parks or open spaces? Will they give some wonderment to young and old alike with a traditional Christmas crib which would soften the present ugly shops and general demeanour of our area.
Maybe it will be the return of those cheap tacky iron things with coloured lights on and so soul destroying?
Come on Trafford - make Christmas uplifting to detract from all the ugliness about the town centre.
