WHILST driving through Altrincham the other day I noticed that there were several substantial saplings/trees (I think they are common Ash) growing from the top level of Stamford House.
It does not take much imagination to realise that left unchecked they will grow and pose a serious risk that the roots will dislodge some of the large coping stones at the top of the building.
Surely it is the duty of our elected local representatives to act to protect their rate payers from such unnecessary risk.
