I like living in a clean area which is why I've been known to sweep outside my house and report mess online to the council, which is less time consuming than waiting in a queuing system on the phone.
Trafford has eventually dealt with my requests so I have no major gripe, although the graffiti issue is something the council struggles to control, with it easy to assume that it will only come back after it's been cleaned.
However, my advice is to report any problems online or to Trafford Direct at Urmston library, after all, you're paying council tax.
Also, a gentle reminder to the owners of the end terraces on Gladstone and Cavendish Road about the mess on your walls bordering the alleyway. Apparently, the council has already sent you forms to fill (a disclaimer as the walls have a painted surface) to cover over the mass of scrawls that have appeared since last summer.
If you haven't, contact Trafford, it's free and if you don't it will only attract more graffiti.
